Varias ideas…

- FT: Letter reveals fragility of Greece

- Mr. Stathakis argued that “the negotiation process has gone well recently and an agreement can be reached in the next two-to-three weeks”

- Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis told a conference in Athens on Thursday that "over July-August the finance ministry will have to borrow €6.7bn from our partners in one way or the other to repay bonds from the SMP programme". He added that “about €27bn of those bonds are still left, which should be repaid in the next months or years. These bonds should be pushed back to the distant future. This is clear".

- On the subject of ELA for the Greek banks, Mr. Weidmann argued that "given the ban on monetary financing of states, I do not think it is ok that banks which do not have access to the markets are being granted loans which then finance the bonds of their government, which does not

– IMF spokesman Gerry Rice told reporters on Thursday that "we are flexible. We are open to look at all options. But we must insist on reaching the objectives of the program", adding that he hoped international creditors who are “working intensely” can reach a deal with Athens soon
